The Montrose Area Chamber of Commerce offers volunteer opportunities throughout the year for those interested in giving back to the community. Whether it’s volunteering your time at one of our events or in one of our many committees, the Chamber has opportunities for everyone.
This year, the Montrose Area Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Montrose Common Ground, Montrose City and the Montrose Township with the goal to bring businesses and residents all the latest information in one place. We are looking for volunteers like never before due to this large undertaking.
In order to grow our Chamber, we need volunteers in many areas. We will post all opportunities to help our community here regularly. Please check back often for ways you can help.
Chamber Committees
Chamber Committees are what help organize and grow the Chamber. Committee members plan, negotiate and brain storm new ideas.

The following are the current committees of the Montrose Area Chamber of Commerce:
Downtown Development
This committee was formed to improve the image of our community and promote pride through new business growth, town improvement projects and community programs. The committee discusses city and township issues, and presents community improvement.

Fundraising and Community Events
The objective of this committee is to brain storm new ideas for community events along with raise money for the Chamber’s current projects. Events include things like our Chili Cook-off, Duck Race and upcoming circus!

Media
This committee is in charge of all social media platforms. It is the media committee’s objective to keep businesses and residents up to date with current town happenings and Chamber events. We are currently looking for people-especially during this time-to help keep the community informed about local business hours, coronavirus information, and other pertinent information for local small businesses.
